We
have been working with individuals, businesses, organisations, churches,
groups, charities and social enterprises for many years. We
have started businesses and assisted in establishing charities and social
enterprises ourselves. We offer simple and practical assistance to enable you to perform your tasks better. We enjoy and get immense fulfilment from what we do. We are constantly involved in mentoring individuals and organisations to be the best that they can be, we focus on organisational start-up, articulating ideas and confidence-building. We measure our success by seeing so many of our clients asking us to work with them again and again and recommending us to others! Most of our work comes to us through referrals by satisfied customers! We can help:
We have a wide range of the expertise and experience in the management, public relations, broadcasting and project management fields. We are professionals with complementary skill sets gained in a number of public, private, commercial, social and not-for-profit sectors, in the United Kingdom, working in the United Nations and vast experience of different management positions in Africa. We aim to stimulate new, entrepreneurial ways to tackle social problems more effectively and more efficiently through connecting people in various communities, bringing together those from voluntary and not-for-profit organisations, especially those who have a background of being from disadvantaged communities with the public and private sectors. This enables the sharing of ideas and practical experience, and encourages innovation. Our social enterprise is dedicated to assisting small black and minority ethnic organisations and individuals to achieve potential and start their own businesses and social enterprises, help them with fundraising, business planning and project development. Nexgen has vast experience of organising workshops and conferences and workshops among black majority churches and faith-based organisations in the United Kingdom. The organisation was formed out of a need identified as a result of a programme run by Employment Forum (UK) and Community Action Network (2002-2005) directed by Shola Lana, which introduced social enterprises as a form of community engagement, which could contribute to regeneration among black majority churches. Nexgen Initiatives provides services, which are really needed among the black and minority ethnic community in the United Kingdom. We have a very good knowledge and personal relationships with our target groups and are currently working in partnership with local groups, businesses and national organisations in different parts of the country. |
