Alex Haxton Alex Haxton is Director of Operations of World Emergency Relief, an organisation, which works with disadvantaged communities all over the world and sends relief to disaster victims, through partners in various developing countries. As Director of Operations, Alex is widely travelled and possesses a wealth of experience in fundraising and developing links with people of substance, who he has involved in the work of Emergency Relief through his excellent interpersonal and networking skills. Alex is also the Pastor of New Covenant Church Tunbridge Wells. World Emergency Relief is a UK registered charity set up in 1995, and based in London. WER supports and funds 45 projects in 24 countries around the globe. A non-denominational Christian charity, its mission is to give young people in the developing world a living chance by addressing the root causes of poverty through its projects and programme work. PRONACO is a coalition of Nigerian organisations, working on the organisation of the Peoples National Conference in Nigeria founded in December 2004., with a vision to engender an equitably and popularly restructured Nigerian Union/Federation that will guarantee peace, equity, justice, prosperity, good governance, consensus building, harmony and unity in diversity for the people of Nigeria. Philip Idaewor is a highly focused individual, with excellent oratory skills, who is passionate about the improvement of Nigerian democracy and politics and the empowerment of Nigerians in the Diaspora, through education. He has also founded the Nehemiah Initiative, which seeks to work with young people focusing on the need for quality education and giving them a voice. Revd. Shegun Olaleye Founder of the Solid Foundation Youth Club, Revd Olaleye moved to Hackney in 1996 and set up a young people’s club to provide recreation for the youths in the area, who were disadvantaged and disaffected due to the extreme poverty in the area. The club was founded in a local community hall with a £300 grant from the Police and has helped the youngsters to become more informed and responsible members of the community. Tel: 020 7249 3304 Revd Celia Apeagyei-Collins Is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of The Rehoboth Foundation, an organisation offering a Leadership/Vision Development Consultancy, Motivational and Mentoring Programmes as well as training for effective leadership, dynamic teamwork and the fulfilment of both individual destiny and corporate vision. Celia is deeply convicted that every one has a specific gifting and sphere of influence to effect spiritual change, economic development and social reform in the nations. She has served as a church planter, pastured an international church for over 15 years as well as running a Theological Leadership Training College for 8 years. She is an excellent minister and is constantly in demand globally in both church and secular spheres. Her work extends to the continents of Asia, Europe, North America, Africa and the Caribbean. She also acts as a member of Council of Churches in Communities an international apostolic oversight and accountability network based in the United Kingdom as well as an Executive council member of the African-Caribbean Evangelical Alliance (ACEA). Oluwole Tunde A well-established Accountant with years of experience in financial management and Accounting Systems, Olu worked with Community Action Network for 4 years as the Finance Manager. He now works with NUMAST. He is the Treasurer of Nexgen and is also an advisor on funding bids to various grant-making organisations, as he has a vast amount of experience in this area. Revd Abraham Usikaro The founder of Helps Foundation, a children and youth club, which engages in after-school activities and supplementary education, is also a local church pastor with New Jerusalem Christian Centre and community activist from Brixton in South London. |
